I am a Researcher at the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) - Sezione di Bologna from November 2018.
In May 2016 I earned a PhD in Geophysics at the University of Bologna. In December 2012 I obtained the Master degree with honors in Physics at the University of Bologna.
My interests cover a wide range of fields of seismology:
Tomography of the uppermost crust from the cross-correlation of seismic noise
Seismicity induced by human activities such as oil extraction, water injection...
Seismic source characterization from second moment tensor inversion
Crustal tomography from the inversion of ellipticity of Rayleigh waves from earthquake data
Tomography of the crust and upper mantle from the inversion of local amplification measurements.
Study of the Antarctica region from the inversion of ellipticity of Rayleigh waves from the polarization analysis of ambient noise.
